Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps 2013 Recruitment Advertisement (Flash)
I have made a recruitment advertisement for the "Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps" for 2013. It may not constantly address Phantom Regiment, but I like it. The last three seconds, however, is an uploading issue I'm having. The original file has seventeen seconds, but for whatever reason, uploading it repeats the last bit. And It makes me slightly more than slightly aggravated.

Animated GIFs
My apologies on this, but my animated GIFs in the course weren't technically related to Drum Corp. However, both of these created a but of fun in the class. This first one is the one I'm particularly proud of:
This next one is Johann Sebastian Bach's "Little" Fugue in G Minor. The seemingly random letters are the notes being played. I can only hope that the timing of the frames will work in a browser.

A Some-what Formal Introduction
This blog, "Peter Eklund and the International Drum Corps", has been created for the assignment of creating an online blog on www.blogger.com. The criteria of posting will be some of the projects and works that I create, most or all being of Drum Corps. The content provided will often be original content, and all copyrights will go to their respective owners on any other occasion.
The first post on any blog demands an introduction. I'm Peter Eklund, the owner of this blog. I am an avid musician in the River Falls High School bands, including concert bands (I'm going to be in two next year) on trombone, two jazz bands (tenor trombone on one, soprano on the other), baritone in marching band, and a jazz quintet for Solo & Ensemble. I have two Youtube accounts, one of which is a personal video account. The other hasn't quite "started up" yet, but will consist of myself on the instruments that I own, and will include multi-tracked songs as well as solos. My instruments include a rose-brass Stradiviarius Bach 42BO tenor trombone (F Attachment), a gold-brass Holton Collegiate tenor trombone (straight), a nickel-silver E.F. Durand soprano trombone, and soon will I have a jazz horn. I have a particular taste in King.
